My mystical experiences

Experience during holotropic breathwork

I recently remembered my experience during a holotropic breathing course I attended in Střilky, near Brno. It took place at the beginning of November, just after All Saints’ Day, and I was 20 years old at the time. Holotropic breathing is accelerated breathing accompanied by music and a partner sitting next to the person who is breathing holotropically. With closed eyes, lying on a mat in a pleasant and safe environment, a person immerses himself in the rhythm of his own breathing and music. It thus gets out of ordinary perception and enters the realm of the unknown and non-conformist. According to Stanislav Grof, the inventor of this breathing method, this method activates the internal process of healing the soul and mind of a person and offers him a new type of experience similar to those that people usually induce with psychotropic substances, but without the negative effects that can accompany the ingestion of those substances.

That’s when I experienced my second “enlightenment”, which I will share with you. http://www.abcsvatych.com/images/z_ruzenec/bol5_ukrizovani2.jpgI also felt peace, tranquility, peace, as described by many practitioners, but this phase was first preceded by the experience of crucifixion. It was during this that I experienced such details, which were very different in details from those I had read about in the previous literature about the crucifixion of Christ, or shown in the pictures. For example nails, which can rather be called staples, were hammered into my wrists, not my hands, and the same on my feet, and it all ended after a long suffering (when it lasted a long time and the Romans were already about to leave) with a blow of a staple on the head. Then I felt peace, tranquility, serenity. I was aware that I had undergone a mystical death and awakening.

But why was it all good?! It had several positive effects. In addition to having a mystical experience that expands and enriches our daily consciousness and worldview, it also led to the fact that gradually during November and December my intuition and inner feeling strengthened so much that during the then Christmas holidays I directly felt the connection with the highest spiritual levels and had unusual spiritual experiences. But that’s another story.
