The true essence (type) of the evolving earth spirit is spiritual-being. The spirit, as an unconscious germ, entered the lower parts of Creation for the purpose of development. The spiritual-being is the home of the spirit. The spiritual is of a completely different nature than the lower levels where the spiritual seed is born. In other words, the levels differ by the type of substance they consist of. These essences are alien to each other and can only be united by a certain type of radiation. These substances can only combine, but not merge. This means that these substances will automatically separate from each other after the fusion radiation is interrupted. We can see this e.g. at death, when the human soul is released from the earthly physical body. Spirit of God
But now let us return to incarnation, the descent of the spirit into the lower levels. The term incarnation is mostly used for incarnation, the immersion of the soul into the physical body, but in a broader context it is the immersion of the spirit into lower levels, not only the physical. That is, the unconscious spiritual germ first penetrates into the essential level, which is located below the spiritual level, takes “upon itself” the substance of the corresponding level, i.e. the essential substance, from which the essential body is formed in the process of development, then the unconscious spiritual germ with the essential envelope penetrates into the next lower level, which is the level of subtlety. During immersion, the spiritual seed with the essential envelope “takes on” the subtle material envelope as well. At approximately the lowest points of subtle matter, its subtle envelope, the consciousness of the subtle body, begins to awaken to consciousness.
In a simplified way, we can call all these covers, substances, bodies that are not spiritual, the soul (that is, the spirit with an essential and subtle material cover). And the spirit is actually the (unconscious at the beginning of development) spiritual essence itself, which is itself alive and which animates other non-spiritual bodies. That is why it is important to draw attention to this, because if somehow the spirit suddenly “withdraws”, frees itself from the other bodies, the substances in which it has embedded itself, these foreign bodies will eventually disintegrate by themselves, because there is a lack of animating element, a living organism, which is the spirit itself (spiritual germ).
After that, the soul at the lower levels of subtlety learns and prepares for the next stages of its development, i.e. immersion, incarnation into gross matter. During incarnation, the soul also takes on a gross material envelope. It is also important to mention that the above classification of packages is only according to their essence, type. Within the species, we can generally divide the given species into 3 more components – from top to bottom – fine, medium and coarse. That is, the soul, when diving into gross matter, first takes on itself a subtle gross matter cover (as if a “coat”), which is called (even if this comparison is only approximate) mental from the mental sphere, then it is a cover from medium gross matter, which “popularly” called the astral, and then it is a sheath of gross gross matter called the ether. The physical world is one of the planes of the etheric realm. So the physical body is just a body, a substance from the physical plane, the physical world, which is animated by a living spirit through the thick layer of many substances, bodies. This is also why a physical person, despite having a spiritual essence, can do such negative things as they do, because in many people these lower bodies are very “dirty, clogged”…
So, if I want to summarize it, the mention of spiritual and physical is only a very rough description of the parts of Creation from the spiritual “down”… And why is this division important? For those would-be esotericists who only use it to describe something abstract, it’s useless because they don’t even care anymore. But for those who work with energies, it should be vitally important, because each substance, essence, not only has a different energy, but this energy is of a completely different kind and quality. And if someone does not know what energy he is consciously working with, then it is very bad, because there are not only positive beings, but also negative ones. And it is very bad if dirt is mixed with clean energies. Of course, everyone says that he is the one who uses the pure energies and the highest energies, but in reality this is not true, because it is “a little” more complicated. And the above scheme is very good for those who seek spiritual development, because according to the degree of connection of a person, a person is guided in the right direction… And that is why it is very wrong to use the word spirit and spiritual for everything, because it misleads a person, and it is especially confusing for beginners…
